Ritual Zero Proof is not meant to be consumed neat or on the rocks, but in a pinch we recommend drinking our spirit alternatives with sparkling water.

Ritual Zero Proof is crafted, not distilled — meaning no alcohol ever. Unlike many of the NA products on the market, we are not an “alcohol removed” spirit. Our Tequila Alternative is made from the ground up, so it never has proof to begin with.

Our tequila substitute is made with natural botanical flavors to replicate the nose, taste, and bite of traditional tequila. The botanicals are refined individually to lock in their purest flavor before being carefully blended to create a sophisticated profile. After undergoing the microfiltration process, the batch is bottled and date stamped for freshness.

We meticulously source high-quality ingredients to create the desired nuances for our non-alcoholic tequila substitute. Every bottle of Ritual Tequila Alternative is made with filtered water, natural flavors, cane sugar, citric acid, xanthan gum, salt, caramel color, sodium benzoate, and potassium sorbate as preservatives.

Nutrition labels round calories to the nearest 5, and our substitute for tequila has only about two calories of sugar. Hence, the zero. You’ll probably burn those two calories in the process of shaking your cocktail, though, if we’re splitting hairs.

There are so many different Ritual tequila recipes for you to try out, but our personal favorite is an ice-cold Margarita! For this drink, you’ll need:

• 2 oz. Ritual Tequila Alternative
• 1 oz. lime juice, freshly squeezed
• 1/2 oz. agave nectar
• Garnish: salt and lime

Combine the Ritual Tequila Alternative, lime juice, and agave nectar in a shaker with ice. Shake. Pour into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime and add salt to the rim.
