Mexican Mule
First up, a refreshing drink to revive you after a tough cardio sesh. In this south-of-the-border spin on the Moscow Mule, we substitute Ritual Tequila Alternative for the real thing. The bite of the ginger beer will invigorate the senses, pairing perfectly with your runner's high. Enjoy!
2 oz. Ritual Tequila Alternative
1/2 oz. lime juice
4 oz. ginger beer
Lime wedges (garnish)
Fill a copper mug or tumbler with ice. Add all ingredients. Stir and garnish with lime wedges.
Mint Julep
Next up, an icy, herbaceous drink perfect for your workout cooldown, the Mint Julep. Not just a cocktail to consume while watching horses race, this drink can hit the spot any time of year. We make it zero alcohol using our bourbon replacement instead of bourbon, with a mint sprig for garnish. Cheers!
2 oz. Ritual Whiskey Alternative
1/4 oz. simple syrup
8 mint leaves
2 dashes bitters
Mint sprig and bitters for garnish
Muddle the mint and syrup in a julep cup or rocks glass. Add the Whiskey Alternative and pack tightly with crushed ice. Stir until the cup is frosted on the outside. Top with more crushed ice to form an ice dome and garnish with a mint sprig and a few optional drops of bitters.
Ruby Rose Spritzer
And finally, a bubbly drink you can enjoy after a morning workout. It’s got a healthy dose of grapefruit juice and is made zero proof using our gin substitute. We recommend making your own rosemary-infused simple syrup as well. Now take a load off and indulge. You’ve earned it!
2 oz. Ritual Gin Alternative
3 oz. ruby red grapefruit juice
1 oz. rosemary simple syrup
Sparkling white grape juice, tonic or soda water
Grapefruit slices and additional rosemary sprigs
Combine the first three ingredients in a shaker with ice, and shake vigorously. Strain into a tall glass with additional ice and top with sparkling grape juice, tonic or soda. Garnish with grapefruit slices and rosemary.
